- List what must not change: product names, names, figures, dates, URLs, quotations, internal terminology, and distinctive wording that should remain.
- Separate the editing scope. State whether you need only typos, or also grammar, consistency, readability, and logical flow.
- Fix the output sections. A corrected draft, edit log, reasons, and items needing confirmation make each suggestion easier to review or reject.
- Keep human-review boundaries. Verify figures, sources, contract or legal language, medical or financial wording, personal data, and publication approval yourself.

Proofread a long draft in stages
